Server Requirements

The followings are the recommended system requirements needed to run versions of the Xigg application.

• PHP (4.3.0 or above)
  • Mbstring functions - required
  • Gettext functions - strongly recommended
  • MDB2 package (pear.php.net) - required
  • MDB2_Schema package (pear.php.net) - required
  • Cache_Lite package (pear.php.net) - required
  • HTTP_Request package (pear.php.net) - required
  • HTMLPurifier package (htmlpurifier.org) - required
  • Sabai package (sabai.sourceforge.net) - required
  • SabaiGetext package (sabai.sourceforge.net) - required if Gettext functions are not available
  • SabaiXOOPS package (sabai.sourceforge.net) - required if running XOOPS Cube module version
• Datebase (any one of the followings)
  • MySQL - 4.1 or above recommended

License

Files included in the XOOPS Cube module version (files that are placed under XOOPS_ROOT_PATH/modules/Xigg and XOOPS_TRUST_PATH/modules/Xigg) are licensed under GPL. Other files are non GPL and are free for personal use only. Contact the author at support@xigg.org for a commercial license.

The Xigg application is being developed by onokazu (onokazu at gmail.com) as an actual implementation of the Sabai PHP web application framework which also is currently being developed by onokazu.
